Marion County Attorney Ed Bull has had a federal lawsuit filed against him for his threatening to prosecute a young high school girl for sending two suggestive photos (that did not feature nudity) to another high school student. The ACLU of Iowa has embraced the ethos of the “free the nipple” movement and claims a male teen would not be threatened for similar photographs. They believe the photographs should be protected under the First Amendment. The parents of the girl do not want the government interfering with how their child is raised.
