Englewood, Colorado is still working on changing its 2,000 ft. residency restriction to a 1,000 restriction. The city counsel will be voting on this next month. While there are those in support of the existing policy, residency of the city and corrections officials have come out publicly against the restrictions–claiming they infringe on the rights of those who have served their time and do not prevent recidivism.
