Due to sex offender residency restrictions, there are areas in Tampa, Florida where groups of sex offenders live since they are far enough from schools and playgrounds. There properties on Nebraska Avenue that have upward of 30 bunks in them for offenders. Some have complained that this violates a countywide ban on sex offenders living together. The Tampa Police Department refused to enforce a ban they say may be unconstitutional and make it harder to track offenders.
