Two homeless sex offenders in Chicago filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all sex offenders, claiming Chicago city officials violated their civil rights by not allowing them to comply with registry laws. A Chicago federal judge has shot down the lawsuit as they were not able to show a continuous policy of abuse by city officials, just “occasional lapses of judgment.”
